Recently I had to have some respraying and panel repair done on my bike.

I used a guy called Mark Palmese, who assured me he was professional and skilled. he was neither of these.

If you do come across this character, take a look at the work he carried out on my bike. He has an intresting way of preparing a panel so that it comes back in worse condition than you gave it to him.

Specific problems were-

Told me the process would take One Week, it took Four.
Failed to match the colour despite being given the correct colour code.
Failed to carry out the repair so nose cone would fit back on the bike.

Took back the panels.
Had a paint shop match the paint, perhaps he should of have done this originally?
Returned the panels requiring polishing, this has not worked as he did not apply paint lacquer evenly.
Filler repairs visible through paint.
Repair on nose cone immediatlely broke again.
I got a partial refund.

The panels that he resprayed are in worse condition than the original thirteen year old panels on the bike, The side panel has already after two rides started to blister. I am told that this is due to the panel being badly prepared and sprayed to different thicknesses.

You Have been warned!

I think describing Dale or myself in that manner is highly inappropriate, even if it is accurate...
