Well!

The Deauville was like sitting in a chair, all the controls were to hand, changing gears was fine, but the actuall ride was not smooth, a lot of vibration comming through the whole bike (I thought it was me, too higher/lower gear) I was the first person to ride it, only 1 mile on the clock. Even though it's a twin I'm sure it should be a lot smoother ride.

The Transalp was a suprise, I did not think I'd like it but it was a lot smoother ride. It was not my gear changing! I liked it a lot. Again every thing was to hand/finger.

I belive that the Deauville and Transalp have the same engine.

I had 30 mins on both.

I also rode a Kawasaki er-6f (very green!), nice, but I felt a bit cramped, compared to the other two.

If you liked the traille bike, try a Suzuki V-Strom or Kawasaki Versys
